Prepare to be dazzled by charming towns, blue domed churches and a volcanic landscape steeped in Greek myth as you walk the caldera rim from Fira to Oia. The path winds through picture postcard scenery that will take your breath away. Cave Houses that once were occupied by the poorest inhabitants have been converted in luxury hotels and suites. But it’s the view to your left that will capture your heart. The sheer drop to the lagoon below with a couple of cruise ships anchored in the massive caldera basin and the volcano in the background is an unforgettable sight. Your final destination is Oia.
